Elite Bridal Outlets have seen plenty of bridesmaid parties (not the disco type) over the years. Typically they are the brides friends, daughters/nieces or other family members, but what we haven’t seen so far, is an 89-year-old grandma bridesmaid. This is exactly what happened at Christine Quinn’s wedding when she asked her grandmother, Nana Betty, to be a bridesmaid at her wedding. What Christine didn’t expect is for her grandmother to be the life and soul of the party!. Not only did she participate as a bridesmaid, she also got on the party bus with the wedding party. Nana danced the night away and embraced the opportunity to feel young again. “You’re only as old as you feel and I feel young today,” Nana Betty told Quinn. We’ll all grow old, but we don’t necessarily have to grow up! Nana also had time to pass on her wise words of wisdom to the younger generations. We love this story as it emphasises the fact that age is just a number. You shouldn’t be hindered by your age. If you want to be bridesmaid and your 89 then why shouldn’t you be able too?
