Let’s get festive!

Have you dropped by any of our boutiques lately?  We’re really getting in the Christmas spirit! If you’re planning a winter wonderland wedding, look no further.  We’ve been getting festive and decorating our beautiful boutiques for Christmas, and they’re full of some spectacular seasonal inspiration! If our Hull and Brighouse displays show anything, it’s that there’s more than one way to do Christmas.  Which look do you prefer? We’re in love with our faux ostrich feather boleros – available in ivory and blush, and the perfect cosy finishing touch to any wintry wedding look. And have you seen our sparkling bridal cape?  It’s part of our brand new accessories range for 2020, some of which is already hitting stores! Over the last few weeks, Elite Brides have been collecting their gowns and telling us all about their upcoming weddings.  As always, everyone’s wedding is completely unique and personal, and we’re astounded by the variety of amazing ideas our brides come up with. Vineyard shoot

Each bride has a different story… and some stay in touch! Alice, one of our own Elite Brides, owns a beautiful vineyard near (we bet you’ll never guess it) Hull!  And it was the perfect backdrop for our shoot last week. We visited the vineyard to shoot more of our new collection!  A selection of these beautiful gowns will be available in each of our boutiques in Hull, Castleford and Brighouse when we reopen on 27th December. To book your appointment for when we reopen, just head to elite.gb.net/appointments   The Little Wold Vineyard was lusciously green, even in winter, and a really unexpected wedding venue neatly nestled in the heart of the Yorkshire countryside.  Thankfully for our models, we mostly shot our new styles inside – in the vineyard’s gorgeous Tasting Room.   The vineyard’s owner, Alice, previously a gorgeous Elite Bride herself, gave the team some tasty homegrown treats to spice up their Christmas – wine grown and made right there in East Yorkshire! Alice’s wedding was actually the first to ever be held at the vineyard, and it’s all been uphill from there.   We loved working with venue stylists Born Boho and with J. Firth Floral Designs, who put the finishing touches to this stunning location. If you like the look of the Little Wold Vineyard, there are plenty of reasons to pay a visit – even if you’ve already found your dream wedding venue! It’s a nice day for a bright wedding!

The traditional white wedding isn’t everybody’s style…  In 2020, it’s the coloured gowns’ time to shine! It’s not just a new year but a new decade – and our Elite Brides are getting more adventurous than ever.
