Thank you for attending our final Elite Bridal Show of the year!

Our final show of the year is done, and so many beautiful brides said yes to the dress! Brides and their tribes visited our Hull boutique yesterday for the very first sneak peak of our 2020 collection, and to check out some incredible local wedding suppliers. With the help of our wonderful Hull team, including our amazing bridal advisors the two Mandys, lots of beautiful brides had their Christmas wish come true and said yes to the dress! “It was a treat, and lovely to meet so many brides getting married over the next few years and hear about all their plans” says Holly-Ann, Elite Bridal’s Director of Retail. As well as showcasing our new bridalwear for 2020, we’ve also debuted new bridesmaid colours and styles, brand new accessories, and our beautiful prom collection. Key members of our design team were also on hand to talk about the new styles, how we put our collections together, and advise brides on their own dresses. And, as a thank you for visiting, brides found £50 vouchers to spend in store… where else but under (or rather on) the Christmas tree? We also loved hosting some incredible suppliers from in and around Hull. Wat’s On Fashion joined us with some gorgeous Mother of the Bride or Groom options.  KFlowers and the Bridal Events Company dressed our boutique especially for the event, and Sugar n Spice provided some truly delicious samples and displays. And we carried brides right through from hen to honeymoon with goodies from Temple Spa (treat yourself to some pampering before the big day, or how about a perfect stocking filler?) and a stand for TUI Holidays. Winnie’s Skin Clinic and ush’hair also provided the beautiful hair and makeup for our models on the day. We also loved showing off our brand new collection in partnership with Katie Loxton – and the bride tribes loved it too!  Catch these gorgeous goodies in all our stores later this week. Top tips for 2020 brides-to-be…

Getting married in 2020?  Our Director of Retail has some advice for all brides shopping with us this year, and how you can make the most of your Elite Bridal experience! Holly-Ann Wilson, Director of Retail for Elite Bridal, sees it as a key part of her job to get to know Elite Brides from every one of our boutiques – and she has a message for all 2020 brides-to-be. “Already this year I’ve seen so many brides leaving our boutiques overjoyed with their experience and the dress they’ve chosen, which is something that’s really great to see,” says Holly.  “But I’ve also noticed that a lot of brides don’t arrive that way. “I know it can be the most daunting thing in the world to walk into a bridal boutique, especially if you haven’t visited a boutique before.  The attention and one-to-one service is a very different shopping experience, and I realise some brides find it quite nerve-wracking… but our aim is to make it the best shopping experience you’ve ever had! “So my advice to you is, where possible, leave your worries at the door.  There’s no need to feel self-conscious or put any pressure on yourself.  Our bridal advisors’ only job is to listen to what you want and make you feel wonderful. “Oh, and arrive with an open mind – bridal shopping is a unique experience, and it’s always more fun if you’re brave enough to step out of your comfort zone a bit!” To see more advice from our wonderful staff in Hull, Castleford and Brighouse, check out their pages and meet the Elite Bridal team.

Saying goodbye to Sarah

This week we’re saying goodbye to Sarah, one of the amazing bridal advisors in our Castleford boutique. Sarah has been working with Elite Bridal for six years, and was one of our very first bridal advisors when the Castleford store opened. Compassionate and extremely caring, Sarah has always been everything we champion in our bridal advisors – every bride that walks through our door has always been her main priority, which shows in the reviews she receives. One bride said, “Sarah went out of her way to look after me, gave genuine advice and made me feel so special.  Nothing was too much trouble.  You are a very special lady, and you are perfect in your job!” Another said, “Sarah was amazing – so calming and lovely.  I suffer from severe anxiety, and she made everything so easy.  I can’t thank her enough for making me feel comfortable and helping me find my dream wedding dress.” Sarah has even helped her own friends say yes to the dress with Elite Bridal – it’s always fun at an Elite Bridal wedding! Elite Bridal’s Director of Retail, Holly-Ann, says, “Sarah has a way of making you feel calm and relaxed around her.  You only have to read Sarah’s reviews to understand how loved she is by our customers. “Many brides felt like Sarah was their best friend during their appointments, and said that nothing was too much trouble.  She even makes a cup of tea with love. “We all wish Sarah the best of luck in her new journey – and the door to Elite Bridal will never be closed!” Sarah will be sorely missed by all our staff at Elite Bridal, in Castleford and beyond, so we want to give her a proper goodbye.
