Did you know that all our collections are designed by an amazing team right here in Yorkshire? Each and every dress we sell in our boutiques is designed by our own in-house team of amazingly talented designers, from the tiny detailing in the lace and embroidery to the shape and fit of the gown. So when you try on a dress in one of our boutiques, that gown has been built from scratch in our Yorkshire design studio by an incredible team who work with Elite Brides every day! So what does this mean for our brides? Firstly, it means we can offer you incredible value for money. Having an in-house design team, combined with our great relationships with suppliers, enables us to offer you the same amazing quality as world-famous bridal brands, and at only a fraction of the price – and we know this because we share overseas manufacturers with some of the biggest names in bridal. Secondly, it means we have a lot more freedom and ability to customise your gown than other bridal boutiques. With our designers always on-hand, we have a team who work with each of these gowns every single day, and know exactly how each of them can be personalised down to the tiniest detail. Want to swap a corset for a zip and buttons? No problem! Adding sleeves or extra embellishment? Sure! Not keen on a neckline? Tell us what you’d like, and more often than not we’ll be able to fix it for you. If you fall in love with one of our gowns but would like some bespoke alterations to make it truly perfect, please don’t hesitate to mention this to your personal bridal advisor or to one of our seamstresses. Your bridal advisor will be able to give you a lot of guidance on how your gown can be altered and give you a rough price guide, and any of our seamstresses will be able to talk you through these alterations in detail and give you a final quote for the work. Above all else, don’t be afraid to chat to us about your dream dress. We want you to walk down the aisle feeling like a queen, and we’ll do as much as we can to get you there! Elite Bridal has a brand new Retail Director – and she has some exciting things in store for you, our beautiful brides! We’re excited to announce that Holly-Ann, who you might already know if you’ve visited our Castleford store recently, will now be overseeing the goings on in all three of our bridal boutiques at Hull, Castleford and Huddersfield. Holly is passionate about bridalwear, but first and foremost she’s passionate about brides. That’s why we can’t wait for you to meet her! She might be new to the role of retail director , but Holly’s definitely not new to Elite Bridal. She actually started working for Elite when she was just 12 years old, as a Saturday girl at our very first boutique in Hull! Originally on a trajectory to study fashion design, Holly instead decided to continue with the Elite business and work closely with our own fashion team instead – and she’s never looked back. Having lived and breathed bridal since the age of 12, Holly has a distinct vision for Elite going forward – and it’s all about you, our beautiful brides. “My goal, of course, is for us to be the best bridal boutiques in Yorkshire,” Holly says, “and for me that starts with each and every person who walks through our door. “I want to make every bride feel like they’re our only bride. I want them to feel like a million dollars when they’re in our boutiques, and when they’re in our dress on their big day.” Alongside the personal service and caring culture you’ll experience in store, Holly knows how important budget can be to a bride – and she doesn’t feel that one should ever be sacrificed for the other. “Some of our customers already travel over from mainland Europe for our low prices and high level of service. That’s something I’m really proud of and want more Yorkshire brides to know about!” Since joining the Elite Bridal team at the tender age of 12, Holly’s worked her way up through the business and learnt all the ins and outs. For the last three years she’s been one of Elite Bridal’s official Directors, working across all our different stores and also travelling overseas to where some of our gorgeous dresses are produced and manufactured. For Holly, who’s been involved in every part of the design and production process for our gowns, the amazing value we provide to brides is another way to look after our brides as they plan their wedding. We know a low price without sacrificing quality can relieve a lot of stress! “When you look at the bridal market, our prices are incredible,” Holly says. “But that’s not because they’re end-of-line dresses – a lot of them are actually our own original, high quality designs, which you won’t find anywhere else! “We want to offer our brides the best prices possible for their dresses, so we deal with our manufacturers directly to make sure we can really meet your wedding budget. When you come to Elite, I want it to be all about you and your day.” One of the things Holly wants to do going forward is give you the opportunity to see how your dress was made, from the first cutting of the pattern to the exquisite embroidery that really wows on your wedding day. It’s something our staff are honoured to be a part of! While we always try our best to give Elite brides the VIP experience, sometimes it’s good to go the extra mile for special occasions… Lots of brides-to-be and their wonderful mums joined us for our latest VIP event, and celebrated finding the perfect wedding dress with VIP giftbags, sweet treats and glasses of bubbly. “I walked in with no dress and walked out on cloud nine!” said one of our Mother’s Day brides.
