Get hitched without a hitch

Last month our Retail Director, Holly, visited one of our wonderful Elite Brides on her wedding morning to dress her for the big day! As part of your Elite Bridal Experience, we offer a professional dressing service to make absolutely sure your dress looks absolutely perfect when you walk down the aisle.  We love every opportunity to help make sure you look and feel beautiful on your wedding day, and this service is no exception – as bride Anna found out. “It was an amazing day, and the dress fitted perfectly all day – it didn’t need retightening once,” Anna said.  “Thank you!” When we professionally dress brides, it’s about making sure the dress is really comfortable for you, but also sits correctly on your body and isn’t going to budge.  We make sure your dress is laced perfectly (this can be more tricky than you think!) and, most importantly, that you feel every bit as special as you are on your big day. “All the Elite staff have been fabulous when I’ve come to the boutique, so I will definitely be recommending Elite Bridal to any future brides I might know,” Anna added. Holly is extremely passionate that all of our Brides feel the very best on their special day so it was a real treat for Holly to dress Anna. Anna looked and felt incredible on her wedding day, and it was our pleasure to add to her morning’s pampering.  Congratulations, Anna!  You’re a stunning Elite Bride. It’s all happening in Hull

For Elite Bridal, our Hull boutique is where it all began.  This was our flagship store, where we helped our very first Elite Brides find their dream dresses, and holds a special place in the hearts of some of our longest-serving staff – some of whom started their careers there. As Elite Bridal has grown we’ve opened boutiques in Castleford and Huddersfield, serving thousands more brides from all across Yorkshire… and beyond! We’re incredibly excited to announce that there are big developments in store for our Hull brides – from an exclusive new design to a glamorous store makeover. Hull is now the only bridal boutique stocking the full Elite Bridal collection, featuring gowns just released for for 2019/20 – which means loads of brand new, exclusive designs! We’re also celebrating a brand new look for our Hull boutique, which itself has had a glamorous makeover, ready for our equally glamorous Hull brides. To celebrate all this, we’re hosting a fabulous bridal show at stylish venue The Barrow Boys, just off Hull Marina.  Join us for an evening of wedding inspiration on Tuesday 18th June from 6:30pm – just email infohull@elite.gb.net to reserve tickets now.  And keep your eyes peeled – we’ll be posting more about this event very soon! We’re incredibly excited to announce that we’re hosting a bridal show next month in Hull! Join us on 18th June at 6:30pm to check out our very latest collection, along with other amazing local wedding suppliers.  You’ll also get a goody bag with lots of samples and freebies – and brides-to-be will be treated to a little something extra! Elite Bride makes model for a day

Yesterday we were shooting with stunningly beautiful Terri – who’s a real Elite Bride! Terri applied to be a curvy model for some of our gorgeous gowns, and might have caught the modelling bug… “I’d had a couple of professional photo sessions before and really enjoyed them, so I thought I’d love to be a bridal model!” says Terri.  “I had a fabulous day.  There were so many fabulous dresses and accessories, as well as fantastic hair and makeup.” While we couldn’t have asked for a more gorgeous model, Terri’s hair and makeup was a bridal transformation.  “It was wonderful to see myself with real bridal hair and makeup,” she says, “especially when I got to try on my own gown.  It was the first time I’d seen it all come together like that.” Terri’s fabulous hairdresser and makeup artists for the day, ush’hair and The Glam House, will actually be featured at our Elite Bridal Show in Hull on 18th June! Terri actually made her application to be a curvy bridal model the day before choosing her dress at one of our Elite Bridal boutiques – and even before her own appointment, she knew she’d love an excuse to try on even more wedding gowns. “I thought it would be really exciting to try on lots of new dresses and see what they could look like on me in preparation for my big day,” Terri said.  Little did she know that she’d have fallen in love with her dream dress by the time she was on our shoot a week later! Luckily, though Terri loved several of the dresses she modelled, we knew none had changed her mind when it came to the final gown – her own – as Terri’s face lit up all over again.  And don’t worry… though Terri got to model her own gown, we won’t be sharing those ones until after her big day!
